Courted
The Plot Is Finally About You
Six nights in the Scottish Highlands and Edinburgh for the high-achieving, ambitious AF woman ready to be wooed by her own damn life. Small group, private tours, experiences straight from books you’d never find on Google, Instagram-worthy photos, and mostly slow mornings that are the definition of cozy cottagecore. The only decision you need to make? Hop on that plane without a backwards glance.
Fall 2027 | [TBD: exact dates] | [TBD: number] spots
When did you become the one everyone counts on?
You’re the capable one. You remember your mom’s cardiology follow-up, which kid needs what signed by Friday, and the dog’s heartworm pill. Somewhere along the way, being needed replaced being wanted.
You can run a meeting, a household, and a family group chat that never sleeps before lunch. But ask what you actually want for dinner, or who’s driving your dad to his appointment now that your brother bailed (again), and yet another decision falls on you… total dial tone.
Then you crack open a romance novel at 11pm, some brooding Highlander goes wildly out of his way to make a woman feel chosen, and you think, well damn. When did anybody last do that for me?
So what if your life did that for you?
Welcome to your courtship era
Courted is a Scotland women’s retreat built around one idea: you get to pursue yourself, unabashedly. You’re done settling, and your nervous system is finally ready to come off high alert. Castles, candlelight, slow mornings, and long dinners set the scene, and you do the wooing. Life’s too fucking long to wait for someone else to do it.
- Falling for yourself first. Rest, beauty, and hours that belong only to you. Everything starts here.
- Finding your people. A handful of women who love your kind of books, quote your comfort shows, and speak fluent Leslie Knope. They’ll still be texting you six months later, because out of sight never meant out of mind.
- Feeling desirable again. There’s no expiration date on how badass you are, inside or out. Picture walking into a candlelit Edinburgh dining room knowing you look good because you feel good, for the first time since you were 19.
We see women online hinting and whispering at this, but there is not enough explicit, dare I say proud, squawking: you want to be seen for WHO you are, not WHAT you are. And you are craving friends who actually get it and are heading into their divine Crone era too. The kinds of friends you can text a meme at midnight without explaining yourself, and you BOTH know an immediate response isn’t expected. Making that leap has felt terrifying before (ahem, remember those mom playdate years???). Babe, listen to your big (or maybe terrifying baby) sister here: you just gotta take the damn leap at some point.
How your Scotland women’s retreat unfolds
Each day is its own chapter, and you’re the heroine of every single one. Expect lots of private tours and mostly slow mornings. Mostly. I reserve the right to surprise you with a little morning yoga.
The Arrival
Land at Edinburgh (EDI) and meet the group for a 4pm transfer north to the Highlands. Settle in, change into something lovely, and sit down to a welcome dinner.
The Slow Morning
Sleep in. Coffee in your room. Gentle movement with Heather on a dewy Highland lawn when your body says yes, then an afternoon that’s entirely yours.
The Grand Tour
A private Highlands day with Loch Ness, a small-batch gin distillery, and a proper hello to the Highland cows.
The Making
A hands-on creative session [TBD: activity], then a send-off dinner to close our Highlands chapter.
The City
South to Edinburgh for cobblestones, hidden closes, and an evening pub crawl through the Old Town.
The Farewell
The Islander Bag experience, then a farewell dinner you’ll be describing to your friends for years.
The Epilogue
Fly home glowing, or stay a little longer on a solo extension I plan around you.
Plot twist coming: [TBD: castle day placement]
Is this your trip?
Pack your bags if
(Heather will help with the packing too, so you don’t have to think about it if you don’t effing want to.)
- Bridgerton, enemies-to-lovers, and a good slow burn are your love languages
- You got your ADHD diagnosis later in life and suddenly a lot of things made sense
- Running a business or a whole team? Easy. Booking your own doctor’s appointment? Absolutely not.
- You’re done being reasonable about your own joy
- Planning one more thing makes you want to lie on the floor and cry
Skip this one if
- A packed schedule and 6am departures every day sound fun
- You want 20-year-old spring breaker party-bus energy (we’ll get a little rowdy, grown-woman style)
- Budget backpacking is more your speed
- You don’t believe in basic human rights
- You’re not a girl’s girl

Hi, I’m Heather
I’m a luxury travel advisor, a mom of six, a competitive bodybuilder, and a romance reader with strong opinions about slow burns. My friends call me the BFF matchmaker because the women I bring together have a habit of staying together long after the trip ends.
I built Courted for the version of me who spent years being counted on and forgot what being wanted felt like. She deserved a week like this. So do you.

Questions you’re probably asking
What makes this Scotland women’s retreat different?
Most retreats hand you a packed schedule and a matching T-shirt. Courted keeps the group small, the tours private, and the pace like a good slow burn, with a licensed travel advisor (hi, me) handling every detail from the moment you book until you’re back home.
Can I come solo?
Please do. Solo travelers are the heart of this trip, and making introductions is kind of my thing.
How active is it?
Gentle. Expect walking on cobblestones, uneven paths, and stairs in older buildings. The movement session is optional and adapts to every body.
What’s Scotland like in the fall?
Cool and moody in the best way. Think days in the 50s F, a fair chance of rain, and cozy evenings. Layers and a real raincoat are your best friends.
Do I need anything to enter the UK?
US citizens need a valid passport and a UK Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) before flying. I’ll walk you through it once you book.
Are flights included?
International flights are booked separately so you can fly from wherever you live. I’m happy to help you find the right ones.
Will I have my own room?
[TBD: room options and single supplement]
What if I need to cancel?
[TBD: cancellation terms]. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
